Our goal is simple we want to meet real needs, for real people in real time!

We believe people would help their neighbor in need and we act as a hub of communication facilitating people coming together to help their community.

Here's how it works.Verified non-profits submit a specific need, we post the need in this centralized location the need will then feed to Facebook and twitter, if someone can meet the need they reply. When the need is met we all celebrate.

Here is what you should do, add yourself to our Twitter feed, Facebook account, or sign up for direct messages through email or text "realneeds" to 77948 to receive messages directly to your mobile phone. When a need comes around we will post it, if you can meet the need reply. If you can't ignore it, or share it with friends.

NEED MET! May 11th 5:39pm

An 18-year old mother needs a crib in good condition for her 5-month old baby boy. The crib she has right now is broken and presents issues with child protective services. Her baby is also in need of clothes, toys and a high chair.

This teen mom will be graduating from high school in June and will be raising her baby all by herself. She is now on a waiting list for housing. The Palouse Care Network (formerly Care Net of the Palouse) has kindly offered to store any gifts of furniture for her while the mom waits for her apartment.

Contact us if you plan to donate. Items can be dropped off at Care Net or the Real Life Ministries office on Monday.

NEED MET: May 10th
A foster mom in her sixties is in need of a washing machine.  Her machine is broken and leaks all over the floor when she does the laundry.  She takes care of three children--all under the age of 10--all by herself.  With young children in the house, she needs to use the washing machine a lot.  She would truly appreciate the gift of a washing machine in good condition, and if a dryer comes with that, then her task would be so much easier. Please see if you can help this mom as she serves children in need, or repost her story so others can have the opportunity to help.

NEED MET!  Thanks to everyone who pitched in to help the family.

Real Life Ministries is remodeling a bathroom for a family in the midst of battling cancer. The family had to sell their home in Othello, WA, to pay the medical bills for the husband, who has had cancer for 6 years. They bought a house "AS IS" in Oakesdale, WA, that was within their budget, but the price of affordability meant serious problems with the home. The plan is to bring the bathroom up to code and make it more accessible. We want this family to have the best in their home when it comes to quality and safety.

New needs are:

Stove
Bathroom chair for the bathtub
Handicapped rail for bathtub

WOMAN IN NEED OF A STOVE
A single woman is in need of a stove to replace her non-functioning one. What she has right now is at least 30 years old and only a few of the burners work. She lost her job a few months ago and has not yet been able to find a new job.  Sometimes, she brings her food to her daughter’s house to cook a week’s worth of meals.  We'll gladly pick up and deliver a spare stove in good working condition to her. Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated!

NEW NEED:
A 69-year old handicapped man needs a rail to be installed in his bathroom.  His cerebral palsy has affected his walk and speech. Moreover, he has never regained full coordination skills after being hit by a truck last year. Somebody has already generously provided the rail, but someone with the know how is needed to install it.  Help us spread the word to our community to find someone to install this bathroom rail.

Thank you!
