Newcomer Class
July 11 – September 26, 2024
Thursdays at Real Life on the Palouse
Large Group: 6:25 – 7:00 PM
Small Groups & Classes: 7:15 – 8:30 PM
Restoration Night is a safe, welcoming community of people coming together to face their hurts, habits and hang-ups head-on.
Restoration Night begins with a large group gathering at 6:25 PM in the Real Life Auditorium. This typically includes a time of worship and a short message or testimony. On the first Thursday of each month we also celebrate with a Chip Party, handing out milestone chips to mark periods of sobriety or victory in areas people are working on.
After large group, small groups and classes begin at 7:15 PM. These classes vary each quarter, but typically include The Celebrate Recovery Step Study, a handful of groups focused on specific books or curriculums such as DivorceCare or Boundaries, a newcomer’s class, and men’s and women’s open share groups.
Restoration Night is not counseling, but a place of acceptance as you work through your struggles with honesty. You will find others who are working through a variety of issues, including:
During Restoration Night, we also offer accompanying programs for children and students.
Restoration Kids is open for infants through fifth grade during small groups. Check-in begins at 7:00 PM.
Restoration Youth is open to students in grades 6–12 and begins at 6:25 when large group starts. No registration is required.
Restoration Night follows a quarterly schedule, with new classes beginning every January, April, July, and October.
If you are joining mid-quarter, you are welcome to drop into one of the following groups anytime:
Newcomer’s Class: An opportunity for first-timers to learn more about Restoration Night and ask questions.
Open Share: Safe, men’s- and women’s-specific groups to share what you are dealing with and find community. Come weekly as you are able, with no homework and no commitments.
Safe People: This class is a series of videos going through the book Safe People by Henry Cloud & Johny Townsend. You’ll learn 20 traits of “unsafe” people and how to avoid unhealthy relationships.
